The Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is an adult only luxury resort located 15 minutes away from the Montego Bay Airport. The Grand is the flagship of the Iberostar complex and has exchange privileges to the neighboring Iberostar Rose Hall Beach and the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. Guests of these two hotels have no privileges at the Grand. The lobby of the Grand is super impressive with high ceilings, marble floors and majestic stairway. All 295 rooms are Jr. Suites (approximately 600 square feet) with double Jacuzzi, sitting area, large balcony, double vanity, fully stocked bar, and 24 hour room service. The rooms are super nice! The only difference among the room categories is the view.
The pool area is very large and social. There were dozens of guests frequenting the swim up pool bar and the resort offers beach and pool service by waitresses. The Star Friends activity staff keeps things active during the day and there is a full production floor show in the evening in an air conditioned lush theater setting. There are 5 restaurants which require reservations, but no dining restrictions. The food was fantastic and the resort serves super premium liquor throughout.
Overall, the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is a fantastic luxury resort. My only complaint would be the lack of authenticity. There is nothing Jamaican about the resort. In fact, there is nothing tropical about the interior of this resort.
