The Now Jade is a great value for the money. The resort has 565 Jr. suites divided into 5 room categories. The Preferred Club rooms are larger and offer fantastic views and locations closer to the beach and the quiet pool. There are two large pools both with swim up pool bars. The resort has 6 restaurants of which 5 are a la carte. There are no restrictions or limitations on dining. The breakfast buffet was extensive, but there was always a line 6 deep to get an omelet. The a la carte ding choices are Italian, Japanese (including teppanaki and sushi), French, Seafood, and Mediterranean. The resort serves premium brand liquor and American beer compliments the Mexican beer options.
The rooms were very nice with pillow-top mattress, large Jacuzzi (on the balcony for preferred club and in the bathroom for non-preferred club), fully stocked minibar, 24 hour room service (snack bar fare), and plenty of space (the preferred club rooms are 700+ square feet). Other benefits of the Preferred club include liquor in the room, snacks, private check in, complimentary WIFI and the outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony.
The resort offer complimentary weddings and has several private venues for receptions and the ceremony. The beach is very rocky in front of the Preferred Club and very nice on the other side of the resort. The resort has an Explorers Club for Children ages 4-12 and a nice spa and gym with free weights.
